Henry van de Velde Awards
Maybe you’ve already heard that Bednet, the organisation that takes care of synchronous internet education for sick children and youngsters, has been nominated for the Henry van de Velde Public Awards with its mobile unit. At Cides Product Design, we’re honored to be nominated as well because we designed this compact mobile unit. As it can easily be transported from one classroom to another, it allows sick students to follow all classes at home. The unit is nominated in the category Life Quality Award for solutions that create better learning, living and working environments. You can vote on Bednet’s mobile unit via this link (http://www.henryvandevelde.be/deelname/bednet-unit-mobiele-oplossing) until 27 December. The winner will receive the Henry van de Velde Public Award 2016 on 19 January in BOZAR Brussels. Thank you for your support. We wish you a cosy holiday period and a great start of 2017!

CIDES at INTERIEUR 2016
5 COMPANIES, 5 DESIGNERS, 5 NEW PRODUCTS: these words define the unique 5x5 concept of Designregio Kortrijk. During the past year Cides and Vanhalst (with famous brands as bb collections and Atelier Pierre) worked together to create a new product, based on a well defined design process. We applied all concepts of product development and co-creation. At the INTERIEUR fair, all results of this 5x5 project are shown: prototypes and concepts of on-going cooperations. Meet us at hall 6, n° 606

CIDES at Midest 2016
In the beginning of December, CIDES will participate in Midest: the international show on innovations for the future industry. With an information booth at the Midest show, CIDES joins the world’s largest industrial (subcontracting) network. Come visit us in Villepinte - Paris from 6 to 9 December.
